Obituary for the late Michael Arthur “Mike” Caley 1940 – 2011
On Wednesday July 6th, Mr Michael Arthur Caley of Osoyoos passed away peacefully in hospital.
Michael is survived by his loving wife Patricia. Mother- Ruth Caley of Vernon. Son- David (Mindy) Caley of Kelowna. Daughter- Elaine (Marty) Walker of Kelowna. Daughter- Shallagh Caley of Westbank. Grandchildren- Daniel, Lauren & Jenna Caley, as well as Kate Walker.
Brother- Robert (Penny) Caley of Kelowna. Brother in law- Neil (Marilyn) Hewitt of Vancouver. Nephew- Michael Hewitt and his children Julienne & Assata of Vancouver. Niece- Deanna (Scott) Petri of Vancouver. Aunt- Dorothy Asuma of Gibsons. Aunt- Loretta (John) Lemma of Warrenton, Oregon. Cousins- Jud (Pam) Walker & Jennifer of Portland Oregon & Gary (Nina) Grove of Portland, Oregon.
Mike’s greatest pleasures in life were home and family. Mike loved his precious Katie, his cat (Sam) and all of his good friends.
Private Graveside Committal Service will be held Tuesday July 12th, in the family plot at the Oliver Cemetery.

It was with sadness that I read the obituary of Mike. When I think of him I see a laughing kind face. I am not surprised to read that his family came first. I am sure that you were all easy to love. Mike was the kind of man that I would have love to have as a close friend. The community was a better place with him in it.Sorry for you loss. Ron
