Tribute

On Friday September 26, 2014 Michael “Mike” (aka Mikey, Daddy, Poco, Papa, Mr. C) Charles Craft of Osoyoos passed away from cancer at Mariposa Gardens surrounded by his immediate devoted family at the age 72 years.

Mike will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Marnie Craft (Clarke), his 3 children Heather (Jochem) van Halteren, Lisa (Dennis) Watson, Kevin (Teresa Barichello) Craft, his 4 precious grandchildren: Brody and Bailey Watson, Noah van Halteren and Sara Craft. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing and cherish his memories. He was a Springmaker for 20 years, then a Boat Mover. After retiring in Osoyoos 9 years ago and building their dream home, they spent many winters traveling south and the rest of their time golfing with their many friends. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 173 where he received a Recognition of Services Rendered. Mike had a passion for woodworking. Mike will always be remembered for his perpetual smile and kind disposition. Donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 173. The family wishes to thank the many doctors, nurses and special caregivers at both McKinney Place and Mariposa Gardens.

A celebration of life will be held at Osoyoos Golf Club on Saturday October 4, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00pm at 12300 Golf Course Drive Osoyoos B.C. a subsequent service will be held in the lower mainland.
