Tribute

On Thursday May 20th, Mr. Michael Dean Taylor of Oliver passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 75 years.
A graveside committal service for the late Michael Taylor will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday May 27th from the Oliver Municipal cemetery.
He will be lovingly remembered by Dorothy, his devoted wife of forty-five years.
His sister Margaret Moreton of England as well as his nephew and numerous cousins.
Michael was born, raised and educated in England. He came to Canada in 1957 and settled in Victoria British Columbia. He was employed with the Municipality of Saanich as a draftsman for twenty-three years.
Michael and Dorothy were married on December 26, 1964 in Victoria.
They moved to Oliver in 1992 from Victoria.

We have been blessed to have Michael as our neighbor and friend since arriving in the Oliver area in 2007. There is now a empty chair on the back deck and will his smile and warm greeting. Dorothy, may your heart and mind be filled with wonderful memories in the days ahead. You are in our prayers and the prayers of our church family at Valley!

Palle met Michael while working together for B.C. Forestry in Victoria. Michael was one of groomsmen @ Viola & Palle’s wedding September 7th, 1963. We have been friends of Michael & Dorothy since then. Our family including Paul & Lisa send our sincere condolences to our dear Dorothy. We have such special memories.
