Our heartfelt condolences to Vera, Cindy, Randy, Michele, and your entire family. Please know how deeply sorry we are for your loss. Neena will be missed more than words can express, and her absence leaves a quiet space in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Neena truly set the bar high for all of us. She lived her life with strength, grace, and an unwavering love for those around her. She was kind, caring, and deeply compassionate — a woman whose heart was always open. Whether a conversation was brief or long, it would not be long before she spoke of her family. Her love for each of you was the steady rhythm of her life. She carried that love with pride, gratitude, and joy.
It has been such a blessing to have Neena and her family in our lives. She was physically strong and capable, determined and hardworking, yet she carried herself with humility. She had strong convictions and spoke her mind with honesty, but always with warmth. She worked hard and played hard, embracing life fully. Her sense of humor was sharp and delightful, and her laughter was contagious.
Neena was wonderfully organized — even keeping records of the dinners she prepared so she would not repeat a menu! That small detail says so much about her loving thoughtfulness. Her passion for cooking was more than preparing meals; it was her way of caring for others. She nourished not only our bodies but our hearts.
She carried herself with a beautiful spirit and a gentle joy that reflected a life grounded in faith. There was a quiet strength about her — a woman who found purpose in loving well. She was a breath of fresh air in this world, bringing comfort, laughter, and light wherever she went.
I met Neena about 45 years ago, and Rita knew her for over 50 years. It was such an honor and a joy to have her stand as a bridesmaid at our wedding over 42 years ago. Her home was always open to us, welcoming and warm. As the years passed and travel became more difficult, each visit became even more special — a gift we cherished.
Neena was surrounded by extraordinary love, respect, and support from her family. You gave her purpose and strength. Your devotion to her was beautiful to witness, and we truly believe that the love you shared was a blessing that sustained her through the years. Her life was rich — rich in faith, in family, in friendship, and in countless blessings that she freely shared with all of us.
Though we grieve, we also give thanks. We thank God for the gift of Neena’s life and for the example she set — of humility, kindness, perseverance, and deep abiding love.
You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
With love and sympathy,
Jack, Rita, David and Nico

Relation: A loving family friend.
Neena became friends with my dad, Bob, when he worked as a guard at the Oliver Police detachment. He introduced her to my mum, Peg and they all became friends. We loved her. I regret losing touch with her after my folks were gone, although I did try to located her a few years ago. My sincere condolences to Michele and all the family. I’m sure after Neena has caught up to her loved ones in Heaven, that my folks will be waiting in line to welcome her home.
