Nick Dikur

August 28, 1927 - March 5, 2013

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the death of Nick Dikur, who passed away peacefully on March 5, 2013 at the Penticton Hospital surrounded by those he loved.

Pre-deceased by his Mother and Father John and Annie, Brothers Bill, George and Danny and Son Garry Dikur (December 2012).

Nick will be greatly missed by his Loving Wife of 52 years Velma, Sons Milton (Pat), Bruce, Daughters Frances (George), Nicki (Myles) and Vikki. As well as 13 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren, three Sisters Vicki, Terry, Stella and many extended family and friends.

Nick had a great Love for the outdoors and sports but above all for his family. He was a kind and gentle man who led by example. We will miss his beautiful infectious smile and laugh. He has gone home to be with his heavenly father.

We will celebrate Nick’s wonderful life at 1:30 P.M. Sunday March 10th at the Valley Congregational Christian Church.

From: Ken Clarke
Relation: His Pastor and friend

How strange to feel a sadness of heart and yet to have a great joy; for Nick is home with our Lord! We shall miss his smile and the frienship of a man, strong in character, gentle in spirit and rock solid in his faith. Nick has modeld for me and for others what it is to live well and to finish well; for this I am grateful.

Good-bye Nick…until we meet again!!
