Born Olive Isa Hermon on March 15, 1927, in Ellesmere Port, England, Olive passed away peacefully in Oliver BC on October 31st 2018.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 57 years, Harry Moffat and their oldest son, Graham.
Harry and Olive immigrated to Canada with their two children Graham and Pam in 1964 and a third child, Alec was born in 1966.
Olive adored her 5 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and would do anything for them (as long as they were well-mannered).
In 2012, Olive moved to Oliver to enjoy the warm sunshine and wine country (especially wine country). A nice cold glass of wine on a hot afternoon was second only to a good cup of tea.
She was fiercely independent yet always had a positive outlook on life and never hesitated to say hello, help out a friend, or visit with her neighbours which usually included a good cup of tea.
Olive was the type of person that subtly touched many lives and now she has passed, the large hole she has left behind is unmistakable. She will be truly missed by all.
