Paul was one fantastic neighbour and friend for some 30+ years. His knowledge of the area, the stories of the different jobs he held from being a young boy were just fantastic. At age 94, his memory was incredible and his stories always entertaining. He was a very social individual and enjoyed being out on his scooter and meeting people who were either visiting from afar – or near!! “What the heck?”. Paul. You will be missed by many people near and far. You have people waiting for you in Heaven.

Uncle Paul. The memories I have with you will never leave me. From the day you taught me to water ski to the last time we spoke. The stories you would tell are going to be missed. What the heck.

Grandpa, you were always someone I looked up to. You were one of the most kindest, friendliest people I have known. Just being in the same room as you can light up the entire room.

We shared some memories as well, like when grandma and I would sing karaoke (we loved to sing Shania Twain), and you would be sitting there with a huge smile on your face taking lots of pictures. You loved to capture all the moments.

The one thing I really admired about you was how you always had a story to tell, and your sense of humour. I will miss all the phone calls we had shared and how just a scooter ride to the lake would be a really awesome and funny story. I really enjoyed those stories you would share.

I still have that beautiful frame you made when I was little that has rocks you collected from the mine when you worked there. It was a very generous gift and something I will cherish forever.

I know you are in a better place now with mom and grandma. I love you so much grandpa ❤️

One of the good ones has left. it is not often that one meets a true gentleman. Osoyoos was honoured to have one among us in Paul Konradsen. Paul was a fixture here, greeting all he passed with a kind word, or several, always delivered with a smile and charm. it made no difference what age or station of life a person was, Paul respected us all, and was happy to engage us in an interesting conversation. it was always enjoyable to hear the stories of his fascinating life. Paul will be missed by so very many for a long time. So long dear man, dear friend.

I met Poul, Nellie and their 3 youngest children for the first time in 1977 when they came to Denmark. We had a great time!
Since then I met Poul several times – my husband and I visited Paul and Nellie twice and we met another couple of times in Denmark as well.
We were always received with great hospitality whe we visited. Poul showed us one of the mines he had worked in and it was very interesting to hear about how he came to Canada and his life as a young immigrant there.
He also told us lots of great (tall) stories which we enjoyed very much.
Poul will always remain in our memories for the short, but good times we had together.

A sad goodbye and a big thank you for the wonderful time we have spent together.
I may have lost my brother, but I still have the memories and I often think of our childhood in Boltinge and our youth in Aarhus when you were a soldier and I was training to be a seamstress.
Of the two times I visited you in Osoyoos and when you, Nellie and the kids came to Denmark.
I really miss our phone conversations in the evenings, Poul.
Your sister, Edith

I know grandpa would tell me a lot of stories. Grandpa also brought us near Seattle, in the mountains and etc. When we were living with carol and Carl the Konradsens would take us out on a regular basis. Grandpa also looked out for us as well because when the townhouse my mom lived at tryed taking money that was sold from things in the house my grandpa got it dealt with it because he said that the money is for the children. I also appreciate grandpa flying us from Alberta for Christmas and etc. Grandpa was certainly a very good grandpa to us. I do wish I could still visit with you. I enjoyed our visits.
