Tribute
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our father Paul Schreiber. He died peacefully from a broken heart.
Paul was predeceased by his loving wife Helga of sixty years, always together never long apart. Also, his son Carl and most of his brothers and sisters – Reinhold, Erika, Christopher, Linde, Rose and Walburg.
He is survived by daughter, Erica; grandson, Alex; daughter, Monica her partner Dave; grandchildren Jada & Brayden; his only remaining sister Magdalene and a large clan of extended family all in Germany.
Paul was an intelligent, logical, resilient and loyal man. By trade he was a cabinet maker / finisher and was known for his beautiful customized work. Paul enjoyed meeting his very good friends- especially Hans at the Husky for coffee and a story. He loved reading and Helga’s excellent cooking. Over the years Paul & Helga loved exploring the Oregon Coast.
We would like to thank the entire medical team, especially Dr. Calder, support staff, volunteers, friends, colleagues and neighbours.
