Tribute
On Tuesday, April 2, 2019, Mr. Per (Pete) Stubban of Oliver passed peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital after a short battle with cancer at the age of 72 years.
He was predeceased by his mother Edith, father Per and nephew Mark Crucetti.
Per will be fondly remembered by his loving family including devoted wife Virginia (Ginny) Stubban; sister Marie Crucetti; a brother; numerous nieces; nephews; sisters-in-law Dorothy, Heather and Val; brothers-in-law Bruce and Arnie and his dog Molly.
Per enjoyed spending time with friends and family camping and not venturing far from home, woodworking, carving, building and putzing around the house and yard.
The family would like to thank the Palliative Care nurses, the SOGH nursing staff and doctors for their amazing care.
As well we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chris, Kristina, Megan and Trent Murray for their continued love and support through this difficult time and neighbours Lorne and Yvonne – Per loved you all.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted for the SOGH Palliative Care Program, 911 McKinney Road, Oliver, BC V0H 1T3 or the BC Cancer Foundation.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
