Tribute
On Saturday October 5, 2013, Mr. Percy Paul Verreault of Oliver passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 76 years.
He was predeceased by his father Raoul; mother Susanna and brother Paul.
Percy will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife Sharri; sons Dwight and Duane and seven grandchildren.
A celebration of life luncheon will be held in Percy’s memory at 12:00 P.M. Saturday October 19, 2013 at the Oliver Legion Hall.

Sharri and family, It is with sadness that we recently became aware that Percy had passed away. It was on last Sunday and too late to attend his memorial service which we would have liked to attend to show our respects. We’ll send this note instead to reflect on the life of our friend.
We always liked Percy and enjoyed talking to him whether he was over at the farm while he was working on the horses helping to make them healthier, in casual conversations over the back of a pickup truck or wherever we chanced to meet around town, or on one of the airplane flights he enjoyed with Bill.
His happy friendly manner made it a joy to spend time with him. I really don’t know how he taught all his dogs to bark in different languages but he had that special way with animals and people alike to bring the best out in them.
We have the memory of his happy laughter and of his stories to remind us of him. We feel for those of you who are closest to him and of the sadness and pain you have at his loss. I hope that in time the joy of having been part of his life will replace this sadness that is the unfortunate but necessary part of grieving at the loss of a wonderful person such as Percy.
