Our thoughts very much these days are where Dad wanted to be and where he is now. A fantastic childhood memory I have of Dad is his well marked Bible. No matter what happened in his life he always held on to the Lord Jesus.
From: Ed Fehr
Relation: Pete Fehr was my dad
This message is to those individuals who knew Pete Fehr as their uncle Pete or a sister or brother. You would have known Pete in a general way along with some deep caring kind side. What I guess I would like to say is that dad and I had talked for at least the last 3 years about his passing and how he was looking forward to heaven. And even just before he died he said Ed I want to touch the face of Jesus. I am so lonesome for heaven. Ed will pray with me that I can go real soon. His wish and prayers were answered. He is now in heaven. I feel only peace and deep sense of quietness in my spirit. We will carry on our conversation in heaven dad real soon. Love you dad. I will miss of course our talks were always so uplifting you had a way of making me feel special. Your son Ed

Relation: Daughter
Knowing that dad was ready to enter the realms of heaven for such a long time, his passing was received with thoughts of quiet celebration and joy. He has gone to his true home.
My memories of him always included his love for nature and being outdoors to either hunt, fish or camp during hunting season. His strong sense of creative arts was a gift and enjoyed by all. He lived a full life and loved living in the Okanagan area with all the beautiful flowers and blooming fruit trees. Now he will be in the most wonderful garden of all and be able to walk beside the Gardener Himself!
Blessings to all who have loved and cared for dad.

To uncle Pete’s family and friends:
Uncle Pete will be missed for his sense of humor and his teasing way about him. He was always very glad to visit and was really touched when we would come from Sask. to visit him. His sister Helen (our mom) passed away just six weeks before he did and now they are reunited in glory and enjoying heaven. May you feel the Lord’s loving arms around you at this time and know that uncle Pete is having a wonderful reunion and welcoming in glory.

Relation: Great uncle
My heart is heavy knowing I will never hear your voice again. I know your at peace, and you have found comfort in your sister’s arms. Give her a kiss for me. I will never forget the peace you brung to a room, the caring nature just came naturally to you. I miss you already.
Rest easy my uncle, and most of all… My friend.
Love always
