On Monday December 21, 2015, Mr. Ricky Harvey Isaacks of Oliver passed away at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 50 years.
Ricky was born on February 18, 1965 in Duncan, B.C. He is survived by his twin brother Rodney and family who reside in Nevada. He is also survived by his mother, Elise Clay who resides in a care home in Victoria, B.C. Although Ricky didn’t see his mom that often, she called him every Sunday.
He enjoyed working at the Oliver Chronicle for a number of years as well as working with the Beaver Lodge Enclave.
He loved to go fishing and enjoyed many trips. He had his favourite coffee stops which included visits with Chad, Brian, Scotty and many more. He loved riding his bike all over town and especially enjoyed visiting any and all construction sites.
He stopped by the SOAICL office most days to ensure that the managers were on the job. We will all miss his visits.
A memorial service for Ricky will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday January 11, 2016 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel, 5855 Hemlock Street, Oliver.
