Tribute
On Monday, November 20, Richard Martin Robert Wall aged 55 of Okanagan Falls, Oliver and Penticton died at Penticton Regional Hospital.
Lovingly remembered by his siblings Thomas Wall, Carol Cieslik, Vivien Abel and Delia Sutherland and numerous nieces and nephews.
Known as Rob (Bob) to his friends. Rob attended SOSS and BCIT graduating from BCIT with a diploma in biological sciences and food processing. Rob put this knowledge to good use in several jobs in the food and wine industries in and around the BC Lower Mainland and the South Okanagan.
Rob loved to play many different sports including soccer, bowling and golf. He succeeded in winning prizes and trophies in each endeavour. Rob was also a loyal fan of the Vancouver Canucks and the BC Lions.
Rob will be remembered as someone who cared for family and friends. He loved to laugh and have a good time and could always forgive and forget.
He will be missed at the table sharing a beer and playing a card game Known as “Bug Your Neighbour” aka “Bug Your Nug”.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Chapel, 5855 Hemlock Street, Oliver, BC.

I was sorry to hear that Rob had recently passed away, he was a good person with a warm heart and far too young to go. I knew Rob for many years and the opportunity to share many rounds of golf, some good times and many laughs. Rob always seemed to enjoy wherever and with whomever he was with.

So terribly sorry to hear about this, Robin was a very dear friend who’s friendship I held close to my heart. While we were such close buddies in elementary and high school, once school was done and I moved ; we hadn’t seen each other for a very long time, which I regret. Charlene and I would like to extend our deepest condolences to all of Rob’s family. We met Rob in 2002 at the Twin Lakes Golf Course and enjoyed many rounds of golf with him.
Rob spent spent some overnights in our home when he was working at the course and we enjoyed his company at small and not so small social gatherings at our home over the years.
We will miss Rob’s cheery spirit, his company and conversations.
