Robert (Bob) Donnelly

Tribute
Robert Donnelly passed peacefully June 30, 2016 at the age of 93 at McKinney Place. He will fondly be remembered by his loving family: wife Addy of 43 years and children Robert, Joanne (Neil), stepchildren; Carole (Mark), Janet, Paul (Judy) & Lisa, grandchildren; Kaare, Ericka, Aaron, Katherine, Anne, Anthony (Erin), Kelli & Benjamin, great-grandchildren; Rheannon, Kaia, Serenity, Kylie, Ainsley and Rosie.
In Alberta, Bob was an electrician, TV repairman, owned an appliance store, was a mortician, gun smith & projectionist.
In 1972, Bob & Addy married. One year later they moved to Osoyoos and bought an orchard.
Bob was a proud WWII Navy Veteran. He loved fishing, hunting, and nature.
Bob was a member of Osoyoos Elks #436 & Osoyoos Legion #173, and was a Youth Curling Instructor (Curl BC).
Over the years their travels included Australia, motorhome trips in BC and the U.S. to Florida.
A celebration of life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday August 6, 2016 at the Osoyoos Elks Hall.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Bob’s memory may be made to an organization of your choice.

I had the pleasure of first meeting Bob in connection with his father several years ago. I then worked with Bob through the Elks. He was a very kind man, always very polite and always thoughtful. My sympathies to the family. You will have memories to enjoy always.

Bob for many years. I first knew Bob at the Curling Rink and we both were members of the Elks and were involved together in the bingo for many years. Bob also served on the Elks Golden Villa Board with me. Bob was a very kind hearted man and will be missed by all.
