Tribute
On Tuesday February 8, 2011, Mr. Robert Valentine Undershultz of Osoyoos passed away at the South Okanagan General Hospital after a long illness at the age of 76 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Beth Estella (Betty) Undershultz and his parents Albert & Elsie Underschultz.
Robert will be fondly remembered by his loving family including daughters Dawn Solon (John DeLaere), Karen Wildman (Mike Rudkiewicz) and Georgia Maddalena (Carmine); brothers, Ronald Underschultz (Hilda), Wayne Undershultz (Doreen) and Jack Undershultz (Eileen); grandchildren Brady Solon, Dustin Solon (Tamara), Landon Solon, Robbie Wildman (Madison Schevenius), McKenzie Wildman, Taylar Wildman, Andreana Maddalena, Jenessa Maddalena, P.J. Maddalena, Scooby and great-grandchildren Hayden and Reese Solon.
Over the years Robert was very active in the community. He was a board member of the Osoyoos Curling Club, President of the Community League, he coached girls baseball, participated in the Relay for Life, played keyboards at Mariposa Gardens, he also played the organ and was a member at the Osoyoos United Church. Robert was self-employed most of his working life.
A memorial celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday February 16, 2011 at the Osoyoos Elks Hall. A reception will follow in the Osoyoos Elks lower hall.

To the family of Bob…..I am deeply sorry to hear about your loss. I will always remember him when he opened Rattler’s. He was the best drink server I’ve ever known. Will miss his humor and meeting up with him at the coffee shops in Osoyoos. He’s with Betty now……where he wants to be. R.I.P. Bob – you will be missed!!!
