On Monday, September 14, 2020, Mr. Roger Joseph Marcellin Prevost of Oliver passed away peacefully at Sunnybank Centre at the age of 87 years.
He will be fondly remembered by his sister Simone; brother Claude as well as nieces and nephews throughout Canada.
Roger served proudly in the Canadian Army for sixteen years. He was awarded the Canadian Peacekeeping Medal, the United Nations Organization in the Congo Medal and the Canadian Forces Decoration.
He also volunteered his time with AA at the St. Lawrence Valley Correctional & Treatment Centre for many years, donated blood over 100 times with the Red Cross and was a lifelong Habs fan.
A private graveside service will be held on Sunday September 27th at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery Veteran’s Field of Honour.
