Ronald Oscar Olafson

Tribute
On Friday, July 21, 2023, Ronald Oscar Olafson passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 84 years.
He is predeceased by his brother Ray.
Ronald is survived by his wife Debbie; daughters Katherine, and Wendy; step-children Alyssa, and Aaron; grandchildren Fran, August, Ryan, Lee, Sarah, Madison, Jaydon, Shawn, and Wyatt; great-grandchildren Lincoln, Darien, Triton, Everly, Owen, Jake, and Gwen; brother Neil, and many nieces and nephews.
Ron was a long-standing member at both the Fairview Mountain Golf Course and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 97. He was known to make a friendly wager or two with other players to make his favourite games ‘a bit more interesting’ whether the game was golf, pool or darts.
At Ron’s request, there will be no service held. Instead, he asked that people consider making a donation in his name to the BCSPCA at https://spca.bc.ca/donations/make-a-donation/
