Tribute
On Wednesday May 1, 2013, Mrs. Sadie Ksenia Plummer (nee Chewuk) of Osoyoos passed away surrounded by her family at her home at the age of 81 years.
She was predeceased by her mother, father, two brothers and two sisters.
Sadie will be fondly remembered by her loving husband Henry; her daughter Deborah; son Wayne; grandson Jim as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sadie was born a farm in the Saddle Mountain District, three miles east of Woking, Alberta. She attended Saddle Mountain School which was one room with one teacher teaching grades one to eight. Sadie left home at age fifteen and went to work in a coffee shop serving customers and baking twenty five to thirty pies three times a week from scratch for the next five years. She then married Henry, the love of her life and became a homemaker, raising her family as they moved to a lot of different places for work. Upon retirement, they moved to Osoyoos in 1991. Sadie was very outgoing and made friends with all she met.
A graveside service will be held at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. Friday May 10, 2013.
