Sardar Nazar Singh Buttar passed away on Thursday March 26, 2015 at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 99 years. He has left an amazing legacy behind. Beloved husband of predeceased Nasib Kaur Buttar. Originally from the village of Ruppa Patti in India. He has made Canada his home since June 1980. He is survived by seven sons (seven daughters-in-law); twenty two grandchildren (twelve grandchildren-in-laws); fifteen great-grandchildren (a great granddaughter-in-law); and a great-great granddaughter! He was loved by all as he touched so many lives. He will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday April 4, 2015 at the Oliver Air Cadet Hangar, 5856 Cessna Street, Oliver, BC. Cremation service will follow at Nunes-Pottinger Funeral Service & Crematorium, 5855 Hemlock Street, Oliver, BC.
