Sierra Olaveson

Tribute
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our loving daughter, sister and granddaughter in Osoyoos, BC.
Survived by her mother, Angie Dambrowitz (Kim); father, Timothy Olaveson Jr. (Patricia); sister, Scosia Olaveson (Aaron); grandparents, John and Louise Dambrowitz and Timothy Sr. and Judy Olaveson; aunts and uncles, Jake Olaveson (Kim), Wendy Deneault (Saunders), David Dambrowitz (Christa) and Dan Dambrowitz (Carrie-Ann) as well as many cousins, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her aunts, Wanda Dambrowitz (Ted) and Tammy Rioux.
Sierra was a free loving and big-hearted daughter, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend. Her creative spirit could be felt by anyone around her. She had a passion for everything she did; mainly gardening, sewing and cooking. Sierra loved books, stories and spirituality. Most of all she loved her family and friends.
A private family celebration of life ceremony to honour Sierra’s life will be held.

Sierra was one of my closest girlfriends.
If I can say anything about her it would be that she was the exception. She put everyone first. She loved without judgement and with care. She was gentle and cute, her laugh flutters in my heart and tickles my soul. She deserved a long beautiful life, but her short one touched my heart forever and I am forever grateful to have met her. I love you Sierra. ❤️ I know how it feels to lose a sibling- a family member. The healing process doesn’t get easier, you just learn to cope with the loss better. Grieve how you do, for as long as you do. I’m here for any of you if you need an ear or a story or anything 🤍
