Tribute
After a long battle against cancer, Sonya passed away surrounded by family.
Sonya was born January 23, 1992.
She passed away May 3rd 2024.
Sonya was predeceased by her father, Darcy Lee Wellman. She is survived by her mother Ilda Wellman; Dave Hillstad; sisters Ashley Wellman, and Annie Wellman; and niece Bella Wellman.
Anyone who knew Sonya, knew her love for horses. Ever since a young age. Horses were her true passion.
The stories and adventures that she would tell. Her stubbornness, never taking no as an answer, defying everything. Her strength to overcome life problems. Her favourite pastime was relaxing with her animals and enjoying nature. Sonya never wanted much from this world, just to live peacefully and happy and to bring joy to others.
Sonya with be forever missed and loved. Thank you for the joy and adventures you gave us.
