Stephen Snaychuk
January 5, 1960 - July 5, 2024
Tribute
Stephen Edward Snaychuk, age 64, passed away on July 5, 2024 surrounded by love and family after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife Lorraine; sons Greg (Chantelle) and Kevin (Jaimie); daughter Carrie (Brett); grandson Kai; sister Linda (Peter); and mom Margaret.
Steve was born in January 1960 in Vernon, BC. Growing up he loved spending time with friends and enjoyed music, camping and fishing. After twenty years working in sales for B.C. Tree Fruits, he went on to run a successful business selling fruit and produce in the South Okanagan. Steve balanced his professional life with his love for the outdoors. He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed spending time in Palm Springs with his wife and perfecting his golf game. He also enjoyed working in his woodshop and was an excellent cook, with many signature dishes his children are still trying to perfect.
Steve was a kind and thoughtful person and will be missed and remembered by all the lives he touched. His commitment to hard work and excellence was evident in everything he did. He was a dedicated father and husband, known for his generosity and sense of humour, always bringing smiles to those around him.
Rest easy, Dad. We’ve got this. You will forever be in our hearts and we will miss you very much every day.
