Tribute
In loving memory of Garth Stewart Sveinson, a remarkable individual whose life was filled with kindness, generosity, humor, hard work, and wit.
Garth was a devoted husband to his beloved Bonnie Lou Sveinson and a loving father to his children, Stacy Lynn (Alkie) and Robin Ashley (Brad). He took immense joy in being a grandfather to Porter Gray, Leo Asher, Beckam Crew.
Garth cherished his sister, Gail James, and shared a special bond with her throughout his life.
Professionally, Garth dedicated his talents to Canfor Pulp and Paper, where he made a significant impact.
His adventurous spirit led him to explore various corners of the world, including Australia, Hong Kong the Cook Islands, Society Islands, Africa, New Zealand, Greece, Italy, Hawaii, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
In his leisure time, Garth found solace in his hobbies of golfing and hunting, which brought him immense joy and relaxation.
For the majority of his life, Garth resided in Prince George, making it his home from 1952 until 2011 when he decided to embark on a new chapter in Osoyoos.
Garth Stewart Sveinson will forever be remembered for his kind heart, generous nature, infectious humor, strong work ethic, and quick wit. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
