Tribute

On Friday, February 21, 2025, Tim Pattinson of Oliver passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long illness. He is predeceased by his parents Huntley and Murle Pattinson.
Tim is survived by his wife Pauline Pattinson; son Kevin (Brenda) Pattinson; daughter Tammey (Keith) Hodgins; grandchildren Justin (Tawni) and Aaron (Rebecca) Hodgins; and great-grandchildren Austin, Scarlett, Hunter and Blake Hodgins.

Tim worked for most of his life at the Smokey River Coal Company in Grand Cache Alberta. In his retired years, he kept himself busy at Okanagan Barrel Works and as a handyman. He loved fishing, wilderness camping and woodworking.
Though he couldn’t travel anymore, Tim loved seeing photos of his great-grandchildren and hearing all the stories of their many adventures. He took great interest in the many places his son Kevin would travel for work running crushers. And always had a good chuckle watching videos of Kevin and Brenda’s dogs, Libby, and more recently Patches.
His daughter Tammey worked for many years at a bank and then transitioned into the wine industry a decade ago, Tim loved hearing about all of her adventures and trips travelling on the motorcycle with Keith.

Tim didn’t express his feelings much, but he loved his wife Pauline and his whole family very much. And he was so proud of all his kids and grandkids.

At his request, there will be no service. His family will have a private celebration of his life in the summer months.
