Tribute
On Friday July 10, 2015, Mr. Tom Lee of Oliver went home to his Saviour and Lord after a valiant struggle with cancer. He was one month shy of his 86th birthday.
He was predeceased by his parents; Tom and Olive; his brother, Norman and sister, Doris, all in Australia.
Tom will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his loving family including his devoted wife Maureen, his children: Jacqueline (Keith) Robinson and daughter Sarah; Kim Lee, and Nathan (Stacie) Lee and son Kaden.
Tom devoted most of his working life to his calling as a missionary, serving the Lord with Wycliffe Bible Translators for 23 years in Papua New Guinea and 16 years in Canada.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Venter and the incredible staff at South Okanagan General Hospital and Sunnybank for their compassionate, tender, and loving care.
Memorial Donations gratefully accepted to Wycliffe Canada, designated for Bible translation in Papua New Guinea.
A Graveside service will be held on Friday July 17 at the Okanagan Falls cemetery at 10:30 am with Rev. Dr. Ronald Holden officiating. A Reception will follow at the Okanagan Falls Community Church, lower hall.
