Wayne (Monty) Ballam

Tribute
On Friday December 18, 2015, Wayne “Monty” Ballam of Oliver, BC passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 69.
He will be fondly remembered by his loving companion Heather Palmer, sons Tyler and Brett, daughter-in-law Sophie, as well as grandchildren Ethan Stack and Emmayln McKenna.
He was predeceased by his parents Sue and Reg Ballam and brother Charlie. Will be deeply missed by his siblings, Reg, Bob, Keith, Peter, Liz, Helen, and Deb.
Monty enjoyed a long career as a sign technician in the Okanagan, the most recent being Outreach Neon in Oliver.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing, painting, following his beloved Canucks and spending time with friends.

I am so sorry to hear about Monty. He gave me my first job when I was 15 at Thunderbird signs in 1974. He was an extremely kind man to work for and even taught me how to use a clutch. My best to his family

Monty helped us with all our signage the past four years. He was always helpful, fair and went the distance to ensure we were happy with the products. He was a very hard worker. So sorry to hear of your loss.
