Wesley Pastor Mohninger

September 1, 1965 - September 28, 2009

Tribute

On Monday September 28, 2009, Pastor Wesley Paul Mohninger of Osoyoos peacefully went home to be with the Lord after a long illness at the Penticton Regional Hospital at the age of 44 years.
He was predeceased by his mother Lois.
Wes will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife Myra; son James; daughter Christy; father Paul; stepmother Barb; twin brother Richard (Susan); sister Kathy (Troy) and nieces Patricia and Kristin.
Over the years Wes worked on farms in Terrace, BC and Kindersley, SK. In 1986, Wes and Myra were married and he worked as a radiator repairman for seven years but he enjoyed working for himself the most. Wes spent seven years working as an owner/operator for Purolator Courier in Kindersley, SK and then thirteen years doing business as Helping Hands in Osoyoos.
Wes was always involved in many different rolls in the church he attended, he was an elder, lead bible studies and worked with children’s groups. He spent two years as the pastor of the Little Brown Church, where he was able to do his hearts passion and preach God’s word.
Wes also loved fishing and computers.
A memorial service was held at 2:00 P.M. Friday October 2, 2009 at the Osoyoos Baptist Church. Pastor Paul Mohninger officiated. A reception was held at the Osoyoos Baptist Church reception hall following the reception.
Donations are gratefully accepted to a charity of one’s choice.

Dear Myra, Paul, Barb and Family,

We are so very sorry to hear of Wes’ passing. He was a quiet, soft spoken man who always had a smile and hello for people. He was a hard worker and a loving family man who will be greatly missed.
Rejoice and be thankful for the years you shared together – you will
meet again, as we all will.

God Bless,
Dave, Gay and Vee
