Tribute
On Saturday November 17, 2012, Mr. William Bert of Oliver passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 83 years.
He was predeceased by both his parents.
William will be fondly remembered by his loving family including his wife Christa of fifty-two years; his sons Harold (Jennifer) and Andrew (Cheryl); his brother Hans (June) and family as well as numerous extended family and friends.
William was a loving husband and loyal father to his sons. He enjoyed a long successful career as a cabinet maker. William also enjoyed model building, wood working and camping.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 24, 2012 at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Dr. Rooke, Dr. Swan, the nurses and staff at SOGH for their friendly and helpful care of William.
