Very sad to hear the news, I was glad to have had the chance to meet Mr. Chobotar a handful of times, but wish it had been more. He was certainly a character, and you can see where the rest of the family gets their character from.
My thoughts are with you all, regrets that I am out of the country and can not attend.
Sincerely,
Dave

It is sadness I here of Bill’s passing. My thoughts are with Kay and the rest of the Chobotar family. I had a chance to talk to Bill at Dales during a wedding a few years ago and also at moms service. I always enjoyed his stories, especially when he had talked about being in the Vernon army camp at the same time as my dad. Gone but not forgotten. I am sorry I am unable to make the service, but would have really liked to have attended.

Our deepest sympathy on Bill’s passing. May his memory be eternal.
My mother was a cousin to Bill. Her mother was a Chobotar.

Our sincerest condolences from my family to yours. I will always have the memories of summers visiting with family and one season of cherry picking. I remember that Bill loved to tease me and make jokes constantly.Unfortuately I have not seen him in a long time. Rest in peace you will be sadly missed.

Relation: He was part of my childhood

I only learned of Bill’s passing to-day. My condolences to all of Bill’s family. Bill and Kay were part of my childhood -fellow orchardists, packing house workers and pioneers of Osoyoos. We were all poor together and we knew we could always get a helping hand from Bill & Kay if you needed it.
