Tribute
On Friday December 2, 2016, Mr. Alfred George Rushworth of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at Mariposa Gardens at the age of 95 years.
He was predeceased by his son Robert.
Alfred will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Carol; sons Barry (Kim), Darren (Mannon) and Dennis; stepchildren Rod and Susan; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters Hazel and Mabel as well as many extended family and friends.
He was a kind, spiritual and loving man who will be missed by all. John 5: 28, 29.
There will be a celebration of life for Alfred with his family and friends in Vancouver.
Alfred’s family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Rudy and Barb, who gave their time; to Al and Debbie and Greg and special friends Darlene and Enid who so devotedly visited him and gave him encouragement and special thanks to his niece Margaret, who brought out his sisters to visit him as well as the wonderful staff at Mariposa Gardens and Dr. Calder.
A graveside service officiated by Dan Murphy will be held at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. Thursday December 15, 2016.
