Relation: Relationship - How did you know the deceased?

To Jean and Lois, – heartfelt condolences on the death of your mother.
Both she and your dad were such good friends when we all had sheep and I have happy memories of our association with them. Audrey carried on valiantly with the sheep and I had the utmost admiration for her. Bless you both….

From: Kathryn Small
Relation: Family friend

I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy to all the family. I knew George and Audrey , Jean and Lois when I was a teen attending Douglas United Church in Burnaby. I have fond memories of all the Friday nights spent in the church basememt when George and Audrey taught the neighbourhood children and teens how to square dance. They were so generous with their time, on occasion even using their van to drive a group of us teens to “grownup” square dances further afield. Some of the other teens were Sharon McLean (now Chapple) Heather Cruickshank (now Reed), Bonnie Slater (now Ritchie) , Brent Cruickshank, Don Christie, Bob Christie, and Len Gebert. I remember we called ourselves “Harper’s Hoppers”.
I am sure that Audrey will be greatly missed.
