Tribute
On Friday November 14, 2014, Mrs. Bernice Dorothy Livie of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at Mariposa Gardens at the age of 88 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Richard Livie.
Bernice will be fondly remembered by her loving family including daughter Annmarie Gordon (Harvey); son Stephen Livie (Patti); grandchildren Holly Gordon (Mark), Orion Gordon, Jason Livie (Carolyne) and Rainbow Miller (Paul); great-grandchildren Camille, Jasmine and Jolie as well as many extended family and friends.
In Bernice’s early retirement years, she loved to take their camper and enjoy the great outdoors. Bernice and Richard even managed to go as far as Arizona for a few winters.
She enjoyed reading, writing, gardening, was a devout Catholic and a long time Royal Canadian Legion member.
A memorial mass will be celebrated by Fr. Dave DeSouza at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday November 19, 2014 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. An urn interment and committal will follow at the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery.

To all of the Livie family, I send you my love and my sincere condolences for the loss of such a great soul. I have met her only a few times, but I have loved her for who she was. I could see myself in her and I just loved her sense of humor and her honesty. I cherish the few visits that I had with her. Paul was able to meet her two summers ago and was awed by such a great spirit.
I am so sad to be far away…………….

My sincere condolence to you and yours. i had the honour to have met your parents about fifteen or so years ago serving them at a restaurant in town here as the years went on we seen, talked and laughed with each other from time to time the love i seen between the two was so cute. i got to spend time with both of them when they moved to Mariposa Bernice and I would visit after Richard. She is in my heart, thinking of her with Richard. Makes me feel Love goes on forever. Prayers and love to your family
