Tribute
On Sunday March 18, 2012, Christine Obleman of Oliver passed away at the Penticton Regional Hospital with her daughter Bobby and her friends by her side at the age of 65 years.
She was predeceased by her parents Kay in 1991 and Adam in 1975; her son Kevin in 1995 and grandson Adam in 1987.
Christine will be fondly remembered by her daughters Bobby and Kim; her sister Theresa (Eddy); her brothers Joe (Jean) and Alex (Theresa); grandchildren Shelby and Issac; her aunts Theresa Pageot and Agatha Wolbaum; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and some special friends Pauline, Gayle and Avril.
Christine was born on April 10, 1946 in Regina, Saskatchewan and spent her career working for the Government of Saskatchewan in Health & Welfare for seventeen years and then the Regina Leader Post until health concerns arose.
She enjoyed cooking and her puzzle books. While living in Oliver, Christine enjoyed making trips back home to Saskatchewan to visit family.
A celebration of Christine’s life will be held between 12:30 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Thursday March 22, 2012 at the Oliver Kiwanis Manor. Please bring a story and or a photo to share.

Hi mom, it’s Bobby. I got you home even tho you got ID’d in Calgary, that did make me giggle, that’s my mom. Thanks to everyone that that made this hard time a little easier.
Mom, only you know how much I love you and miss you, only you know how I feel. Thank you for staying close yet, even at my age I still need my mom. Sleep well mama and god’s speed.
