Tribute

The pearly gates of heaven opened on March 18, 2017 for the most precious angel ever born. Claudine Noella Marie Neilson of Osoyoos passed away at the young age of 53 years, joining her beloved husband Gregory Neilson and leaving behind loving son Victor (Becca); step-daughter Michelle (John); grandbaby Gregory; mother Marjolaine; sister Martine (David); niece Marline (Justin); nephews Trevor (Amy), Devon (Micheline); special friends Susan (Tony), Lukas, Tracy (Brad), Diane (Rob), Carol (Cadillac), Diana and many, many more as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family.

She was predeceased by her husband Gregory Neilson, father Nelson Jourdain and godmother Noella Charpentier.

Over the years, Claudine worked with Young Drivers of Canada, two roofing businesses, Osoyoos Self Storage and everything in between. She was indeed our tiny but mighty French sensation that left us all wondering what was next. Clo’s Pho’s was her next passion in life. Her deep love of Pho’s soup was the ultimate in desire and she learned to make her own.

Claudine was also very involved in her community, volunteering with the South Okanagan Minor Hockey Association and served as President and Treasurer with the Lions Club.

She was a world traveller who also enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafting and was a Scentsy consultant.

Claudine was the greatest mother, daughter, wife, sister, auntie, cousin and friend that you could ever ask for. Her fun loving, strong willed personality with that little bit of crazy brought love and excitement to our everyday lives.

A celebration of life will be held at the Neilson residence  at 2:00 P.M. April 29, 2017, invitation by request only, please RSVP: (250)258-8955.
