Tribute

After a long illness, David Laurenson, passed away on November 29, 2021, at the age of 90 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, James and Violet Laurenson and brother, Earl Laurenson.

David will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Sarah; children, Deb Laurenson, Dan (Shelley) Laurenson, Tammy Laurenson, Teresa Laurenson, Jim (Meghan) Laurenson, Philip (Robin) Laurenson; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Jim Laurenson; as well as many nieces and nephews.

David grew up in North Vancouver and loved to roam the mountains and area with his brother, Jim, and never got lost. He also spent his summers on the boat with his father. At the age of 13 he started working on the boats, which lead him to become a Marine Engineer at 21. Dave also became a Heavy-Duty Mechanic and worked in the oil fields. In his lifetime, Dave built roads, logged, was a commercial fisherman, and mined for gold in the Yukon. He also lived in Guatemala and the Cayman Islands. He enjoyed traveling to the United States, Mexico, and Belize. In his spare time, he loved to play golf and pool.

Dave loved the Lord and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
