David Tanner

Tribute
On Saturday, February 17, 2018, Mr. David Eric Tanner of Osoyoos passed away suddenly at his home at the age of 57 years.
He was predeceased by his father Lenard Tanner; son Ben Tanner and sisters Thelma and Barb.
David will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife Cecilia; mother Anna-Mae Tanner; children Jamie, Shawn and Evan Bisson and Marlin and Brooke Tanner; siblings William Tanner and Muriel (Ducky) Bray; grandchildren Rayne Bisson, Eildh Bisson, Lance Bisson, Mirren Tanner, Lily Tanner and Marlee Tanner as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews; extended family and friends.
Over the years, David worked as a teacher, maintenance worker and administrator where he won numerous awards and earned many tickets.
David enjoyed hunting, fishing, beading and travelling including around British Columbia and a trip to see the Grand Canyon.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at the Penticton Regional Hospital, the Victoria Hospital and South Okanagan General Hospital
A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Sen Pok Chin School Gymnasium.
