Dear Ellie, it was with great sadness that I read of Denis’s passing on line at the nunes-pottinger web site. Over the years that I visited with henry, Denis was usually there and despite the difficulties from his stroke, usually laughing about something- he seemed happiest when he had his powered chair and family and friends around. I always enjoyed his company. But I guess that when ones body finally won’t respond anymore it’s time to ” go home” My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time, and I will miss his smiling face and yours as well- God Bless … Jim MacNaughton, Cape Breton, NS.

Dear Ellie, We miss seeing and visiting with you and Denis at McKinney. Over the years Dad and Denis became good friends and I’m sure it helped them both get through the long days. They sat at the same table for a long time and enjoyed each other’s company – Denis had a sense of humour and we all miss him. Take care of yourself, Ellie. Love from Henry, Ann and Audrey.
