Durvalina Machado

Tribute
It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Mrs. Durvalina Machado at the South Okanagan General Hospital on June 16th at the age of 84 years.
She was predeceased by her husband John (Joao); two brothers and two sisters.
Durvalina will be fondly remembered by her son John; brother Manuel Dores and extended family.
She was born and raised in Terceira, Azores and settled in Oliver in 1969. Durvalina enjoyed the Okanagan and worked hard for her family and away from the house at the local packing house.
Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday June 20th at Christ the King Catholic Church.
A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church at 11: 00 a.m. Thursday June 21st at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by interment and committal at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery
