Tribute

On Saturday November 28th, 2009, Mrs. Elsie May Gifford of Oliver passed away peacefully at Sunnybank Centre at the age of 96 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Harry and son David.
Elsie will be fondly remembered by her loving family including sons James, Paul and Philip; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren as well as many extended family and friends.
Elsie enjoyed living in Jasper, Alberta for thirty years prior to moving to Oliver in 2005. She had a deep love for music and was a talented musician. She played the violin, organ and many other instruments. Elsie also had a deep rooted faith in her Lord and was very dedicated to her church. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday December 4, 2009 at the Park Drive Pentecostal Assembly with Pastor Peter Neave officiating followed by a reception in the Park Drive fellowship lounge. Elsie will be laid to rest near her parents at 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 5, 2009 at Valley View Memorial Gardens, Surrey, BC.
