Tribute
On Friday March 13, 2015, beloved wife, mom, grandma and Nona V. passed away peacefully at SOGH surrounded by her family.
She is survived by Alan, her husband of 56 years; three daughters: Susan (Leo), Lynda (Glenn) and Michelle (Pat); six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Fina loved to cook but her greatest love was her family. She will be loved and remembered forever.
In lieu of flowers, donations are gratefully accepted for the SOGH Palliative ward.
Over the years the staff at SOGH weren’t just nurses but friends. We are so grateful to these wonderful people for the love and care they showed her. Thank you.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday March 21, 2015 at Christ the King Catholic Church. A private family graveside will follow at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.

My condolences to Alan, Lynda, Susan, Michelle and their families. Fina was a wonderful lady that always had a smile and a pleasant greeting for all those she knew. She always asked me about Claire, Ryan and Wyatt, how they were doing and if I knew if they were coming down to visit from Fort Saint John. She will be missed by all that knew her.

A smiling angel has brightened the sky! I will always remember Fina’s smile. She was always asking about the girls and would always recount a story or two of when she would sew matching clothes for her 3 girls. She truly loved her family – always the proud mom and grandma willing to show off her babies. Al, Sue, Lynda, Michele and families our deepest sympathies, may god give you comfort and courage during these difficult times. Fina is smiling down on you!
