Florence Betty Bruckshaw

Florence “Betty” Bruckshaw (nee Appleby) of Oliver was born in Vancouver on April 17, 1932 and passed away at Sunnybank Centre in her 77th year on September 16, 2009. She has gone to join her husband Kenneth of 51 years.
Left to mourn are children Gordon, Jim (Lorraine), Gary (Nicky), Karen (Vern), Trish (Mark) and Dave (Cheryl); ten grandchildren and Two great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her brothers John, Cy and sister Elizabeth.
After raising a family in Powell River, Betty and Ken retired to Oliver in the Okanagan.
Special thanks to Gary & Nicky and the staff at Sunnybank for the extra special care in Betty’s final years. In Lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 204 – 1755 Springfield Rd., Kelowna, BC V1Y 5V5. Rest In Peace Mom, love from your children.
