Friendship is defined by mutual respect and admiration, always knowing thast in the scheme of things you can depend on each other for anything. When together, laughter was always part of the memories we shared from inherited dogs, trips around the world where you shared your experiences, high school graduations, marriages and yes, even the sad times! Gerry set the standard high as a husband, a Dad and a Papa and most assuredly, as our friend. RIP dear friend!

Dear Joanne & Heather, we were saddened to hear of Gerry’s passing. We will always have some great memories of the old Marathon days and later in Fort Mac. Take some comfort in knowing his countless friends are thinking of you at this time. God Bless you both and your families. Love, Shirley & Doug Hodge.

I can’t imagine the sorrow you must feel. I know that Gerry wasn’t only your husband; he was your best friend, soul mate and a kindred spirit. Both of you were my best example of two people who always were in harmony with each other, and together were never afraid to enjoy life. I’m very sorry for your loss, and I will keep the image of Gerry’s smiling face in my memories forever. Love from Michelle, Paul, Tamara & Chloe
