Tribute
On Friday April 26, 2013, Mrs. Kathleen D. Hamilton of Osoyoos passed away peacefully at the South Okanagan General Hospital at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her husband Edward; her daughter Cathy and son Thomas.
Kathleen will be fondly remembered by her stepsons Michael (Karen) Hamilton of Abbotsford, BC and Arthur (niece Barbara Joan) Hamilton of Osoyoos; nephew Edward Henry Doyle of Kingston, ON; grandchildren Michael David Hamilton, Laurie Ann Standlee, Todd De Hart, Cyntia Dodson, Misty De Hart, Jennifer Miera, Jeffrey Patten and Michelle Patten as well as great-grandchildren Melanie and Michael.
Kathleen was very proud to serve her country as a decoder in WWII.
She then owned a wool shop in Edmonton called Beehive Wool for twenty years. Kathleen enjoyed knitting, crafts, liked to play cards, had a great sense of humour and deeply loved the Lord.
A funeral mass will be celebrated by Fr. Dave De Souza at 11:00 A.M. Thursday May 2, 2013 at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. Cremation will follow.
