Kris Van Rikxoord

Tribute
On Tuesday October 14, 2014, Kristopher Michael Van Rikxoord of Osoyoos passed away suddenly at Fox Creek, AB at the age of 32 years.
He was predeceased by his father Kenneth Harpe.
Kris will be fondly remembered by his loving wife Jody Lane Johnson and their special angel “Little Kennedi”; his mother Nancy of Aurora, Colorado; stepfather Garnet of Nanaimo; step-brothers Richard and Joden as well as many extended family and friends.
He was born in Edmonton, Alberta, but spent his school years with his mother in Colorado. After school he came back to Nanaimo where he eventually met the “love of his life” Jody Lane.
Kris was Foreman for Nabor Drilling. He will be remembered as sometimes being a rascal but he loved life and always saw the cup half full. He enjoyed dirt biking and fishing with Jody and Kennedi as well as all outdoor sports.
Jody and her family look forward to welcoming all of our and Kris’ friends as they join us in this celebration of life which will be held from 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. Saturday October 25, 2014 at the Osoyoos Golf Course.
