Tribute
On Saturday, March 9, 2019, Mr. Leonard (Lenny) Benedict Demos of Oliver passed away suddenly in Delta, BC at the age of 50 years.
Lenny will be fondly remembered by his loving family including wife Kristy; children Mercedes and Iason; parents Len and Angie Demos; godparent Joe Ovsenek; sister Sandy (Jim), niece Alyssa (Mike), grandniece Paisly and grandnephew Luca; niece Trina and grandniece Rylee; sister Serena (Nicolas) and niece Victoria; sister Katrina (Todd), niece Tianna (Hash), grandnephew Nikhil and nephews Trevor (Bethany) and Trenton.
Lenny was a proud member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #2 BC. He worked for thirty-two years as a Red Seal Journeyman Refractory Bricklayer.
He enjoyed travelling and spent five years in Europe between Germany and the Greek Island of Santorine. There were many family adventures with Kristy and the kids, and a 2016 vacation with Kristy to Cuba. Lenny drove through the US hitting all the historic musical spots like Graceland, Memphis, “the Cross Roads” and New Orleans as well as many family vacations as a youth.
Lenny loved music and played numerous instruments, particularly the guitar and harmonica and had a beautiful singing voice. Wherever Lenny was there was music playing, from his backyard to the jobsite. His favourite thing was to sit in his ‘zen garden’ listening to music and watching his family. Everyone was welcome.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, March 22, 2019 at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by a reception in the church lower hall.

Pat & I are deeply saddened to hear that your Beloved Son Len Jr. has passed away at a very young age.
