Lydia Wiens was born on April 8, 1933 in Steinbach Manitoba and passed away on May 19, 2015 in Oliver B.C.
She will be dearly missed by her children: Sandi Thibodeau (Barry), Rod Wiens (Lorri), Rick Wiens (Nora); thirteen grandchildren: Shawn Wiens (Jess), Shelden Wiens (Lindsay), Darren Wiens, Jesse Wiens, Robert Wiens, Carla Thibodeau, Clayton Thibodeau (Twyla), Chelsea Thibodeau (Logan), Jodi Schmidt (Kris), Jamie Wiens, Danyka Wiens, Ryan Wiens, Chantal Wiens; five great grandchildren: Joey Hunchak-Thibodeau, Kaitlin Wiens, Declan Wiens, Dawson Wiens, Lelia Wiens; sister Rita Sawatzky (Ernie) and brother Vic Janzen (Pat).
She was predeceased by three children: Beverly in 1953, Gordon in 1979, and Dennis in 2004; her parents Peter and Margareta Janzen in 1996; sister Katie in 1942 and brother Eric in 1943.
Lydia loved traveling, golfing, and good times with friends and family. She was always ready for an adventure and her friendly nature won her many friends.
Service of Life to be celebrated on Saturday May 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Mt. Cheam Funeral Home (45865 Hocking Ave Chilliwack B.C.)
Luncheon and burial to take place following the service.
