O’Reilly, Margaret (1925 – 2009)
of Oliver, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2009 surrounded by family at the age of 84 years.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Bill O’Reilly and survived by her two sons Brian and David O’Reilly.
Margaret spent years in Ontario working in public libraries and enjoyed volunteering as a literacy tutor here in Oliver.
She arrived in Oliver from Ontario with Bill in 1991.
Margaret enjoyed the beauty of the Okanagan as much as her trips back to her homeland in Scotland. Gardening was her passion – as was a good book with a cup of tea.
A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Oliver Municipal Cemetery.
