Tribute
On Thursday August 25, 2009 Maria Ribeiro Laranjo of Osoyoos passed away peacefully in the late afternoon in Osoyoos at the age of 76 years.
She was predeceased by her son Joe Laranjo and her loving husband Jack, who she loved and missed dearly.
Maria will be affectionately remembered and missed by her loving four children Tony, Carlos, Ilda and Roza (Doug); sister Maria dos Anjos (Arlindo) Figueira and their children; sister-in-law Maria and her children; she will also be loved and missed by her eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday August 28, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anne’s Catholic Church with celebrant Fr. Rex Velmonte.
Maria will be laid to rest in the Osoyoos Lakeview Cemetery following the mass. There will be a reception to follow.
The family would like to thank all the family and friends for their care and support through these sad times.
