Tribute

On Sunday August 12, 2012, Marjorie Marguerite Wells of Oliver, BC passed away suddenly, surrounded by family at the McKinney Place Extended Care Unit at the age of 86.
She was predeceased by sixteen brothers and sisters and her son-in-law Dave Peace.
Marjorie will be fondly remembered by her loving family including her sons Jack (Anike) Repper and Richard (Val) Repper; daughters Fran Peace, Doris (Brad) Green and Louise Repper; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren (with two more on the way); her twin sister Florence; her sister Olivia as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Over the years Marjorie worked in the catering business. She loved to travel to visit her children and grandchildren. In her younger years Marjorie loved sports and played baseball for the Rosemount Peaches during wartime. She and her twin sister Florence also sang for the troops to boost morale. She was baptized Catholic but believed that Christianity was a way of life.
A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 15, 2012 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 17 Ave. S.E. at Garden Road, 1515 – 100 Street, SE, Calgary, AB.
Donations are gratefully accepted for the Children’s Hospitals of BC or Alberta.
