Tribute
On August 9, 2012 after a lengthy struggle with cancer, Patrick passed away peacefully with his family at his side. The son of the late George and Ruth Shamber, he is survived by his wife of 44 years, Janice; a son Michael; a daughter Nikki (Paul) Schmidt; five grandchildren Emerson, Raiya, Anton, Nelson, and Lincoln; a sister Dolores (Earl) Proulx and sister-in-law Lorraine Cooper. Patrick was predeceased by his sister Carol and brother Steve. The family would like to thank Dr. Galbraith, Dr. Vickars, and staff on the Oncology ward in Abbotsford Regional Hospital. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday 12:00 pm on August 20, 2012 at the Bridesville Community Hall, Bridesville, BC.
